Finan McDonald was a historic figure in Northern Idaho during the time of the Lewis and Clark Expeditions. He was a 6' 4" red-haired Scottish trapper and trader. Finan McDonald was an impressive figure, even for his time, with a great name. He embodied the spirit of the adventurer from this beautiful area.
